We’ve had a great summer of reading, programs and fun with 376 SRC participants. Remember the last day to collect tokens is August 28 and redeem them for coupons by September 4th.
Now that summer is winding down, we’re planning a great fall lineup of free programs. KEY DATES
- September program registration begins August 31 at 7am
- October program registration begins September 21 at 7am
- November program registration begins October 19 at 7am
- December program registration begins November 23 at 7am
We need your help in naming our library garden Bookworm in celebration of all our great Summer Reading Club members! You can bring your own painted rock, or stop by our painting station to create your masterpiece for our growing bookworm.

Baby Rhyme Time
For babies (5 months to 12 months) and their grownups. Join us for stories, songs and play!
Offered in six-week sessions from September to May, Wednesdays at 11: 30 a.m and interest permitting Fridays at 1:30pm
Toddler Tales Drop-In
Drop-in story times. No registration required, just a library membership!
Fridays, 10-10:30 am (with a parent or caregiver.) Not offered in January, June or September.
Preschool Story Time Drop-in
Drop-in story times. No registration required, just a library membership!
Fridays, 11-11:30 am (independently.) Not offered in January, June or September.
100 Books to Share Before Kindergarten
Have you checked out our little red wagon display? It’s the home of our “100 Books to Share Before Kindergarten” collection. You can see our entire ‘best of the best’ list on our catalogue – check under “themed children’s collection” in the kiosk.
Share all 100 books with your little one and receive a certificate and a fill-in-the-blank letter to present to the kindergarten teacher on the first day of school. Download the brochure with details and the book list, or pick up your copy at the library today!
