As of the start of July, more than 180 youth have signed up to participate in our fabulous Summer Reading Club. With generous community support from Arnprior Optimists, Arnprior Rotarians and the Scharf Family Charitable Trust, the library is able to offer this reading incentive program with the purchase of coupons at some fantastic destinations. Children read to collect wooden tokens which can be redeemed at the library for coupons at Dairy Queen, Flavour Container, Mallard’s Ice Bar and Super Lucky Dollar Store. We also have a special dropoff of tokens in support of the Arnprior Humane Society.
It’s free to sign up – all you need is a valid library card.
Participation in the SRC also opens registration for our age-specific daily programs that feature stories, songs, activities, nutritious snack and a themed craft.
