Butterflyway program

For families and all ages. Last fall Butterflyway Project Arnprior began a pollinator garden project here at the library. We are inviting members of the community to participate by creating stepping stones for the garden. As part of this workshop you will also learn about why pollinators are important and how we can make a difference by creating pollinator habitat.The Butterflyway Project is a citizen-led movement growing highways of habitat for bees and butterflies across Canada. This volunteer-led movement brings nature home to neighbourhoods, one butterfly-friendly garden a ta time.From inception to 2024, the foundation trained 1,800Butterflyway Rangers in hundreds of communities throughout Canada. Rangers then connected with neighbours to create habitat gardens in residential yards,school and corporate grounds, boulevards and parks. When 12 or more patches are established, a new Butterflyway is born. REGISTER HERE!
