Seniors’ Health Clinics this September

The library is pleased to partner with Renfrew County District Health Unit in hosting two Seniors’ Health Clinics.  September 15 join the presentation on Healthy Aging which includes a Q&A session afterwards. Details available here.

Then on September 22 you will have the opportunity to meet with a public health nurse for a one-on-one to discuss your health and wellness needs. We can offer help with:

  • Registering for a waitlist to find a family physician
  • Connecting to a physician while waiting for a family physician
  • Finding services and supports in your community
  • Assistance registering for the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program
  • Referrals to the Community Connector for social needs (i.e. transportation, meals on wheels, housekeeping services)
  • And more!
