Programs & Events
We offer education and recreation programs for people of all ages
From preschool story time and the Lego lounge to knitting, our book club and chess, we have something for almost everyone. Some programs require registration. Links to sign up are in the details in the calendar.
Mondays feature our Whatknots Knitting Group, the new Monday Art meetup and our Spanish Conversation Group!
Knitters and Artists meet at 10am. Bring your current projects and let's get creative together! No registration is required. Everyone is welcome! At 6pm we welcome those who want to learn and/or practice their Spanish. Thanks to our volunteer Sonia for helping to lead this group.
Tuesdays are for our Arnprior 10 Book Clubs and the Chess Club
Both Book Clubs are currently at capacity, but let us know if you're interested and we'll be in touch if space opens up! 613-623-2279. There's always room for players (all ages and skill levels welcome) at our drop-in Chess Club every Tuesday afternoon 12 - 5pm in the lower level Art Corridor.

Our ever popular LEGO Lounge is back throughout the school year. Kids aged 5 and up are welcome to this drop-in session. Create and then see your project in our display case for the entire week.
We also host our youngest patrons at Baby Rhyme Time on Wednesday mornings. This is a registered program that runs in 6 week sessions.
Thursdays are game days - Mahjong and Scrabble
New to our program lineup. We've just launched this activity and are excited to welcome more players as we learn from our expert, Barb! Beginning in November, it's the return of our Scrabble Club. Meeting in the lower level Art Corridor, games begin at noon. The library supplies the boards, your bring your smiles!
Fridays are busy with drop-in programs for kids and adults
Every Friday morning bring your toddlers to our 10am program filled with stories, rhymes, songs and finger plays. At 11 am there's our preschool story time with your child's first exposure to independent attendance for this half hour fun filled program. Also in the morning, our English as a second language group meets in the lower level. All skill levels welcome. In the afternoon, we welcome Bridge Players into our main community hall beginning in November. See you at the library!
